Phil Cogswell was a committee member for the Jockey Club for around 10 years in the early 2000s, which led to Cogswell providing professional services to the Club. Small sponsorship was provided for awards night up until recent times. Cogswell were engaged to design and provide construction supervision for the recently constructed all-weather synthetic race track and following completion provided sponsorship towards one of the first race meetings on the track. The track is a world class asset for the Club and NZ Racing and Cogswell are proud to be involved from inception to completion.
